ABOUT
Lisa Irvall (b.1980) is a photographer and artist based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Her work integrates theories of psychology, the human mind and behaviour, from a feminist perspective in the modern space. Integral to her practice is the bounderies between inner and outer landscapes, explored in such a way that its actual existence is questioned, both as a physical photograph and a state of mind. A recurring theme in her work is psychological isolation in the contemporary urban landscape, its relation to nature, and the common factors that integrates both psychological processes.
